Intro to Attacking ICS

Synopsis
To quote Sun Tzu: "Attack is the secret of defense; defense is the planning of an attack," and in line with this, this 1-day course will impart foundational knowledge of common ICS attack methodologies. Topics covered will include basic ICS architecture, ICS protocols (including Modbus), vulnerable architectures and devices, and using python to automatically attack vulnerable situations.
Student Requirements
- A Windows, Mac, or Linux laptop you can run virtual machines and arbitrary software on ("work" laptops are highly discouraged)
- An ethernet jack the laptop
- A basic familiarity with using Linux and its CLI
- Enough Python knowledge to read the documentation for python modules and incorporate them into a script
