This event is part of our ICS/SCADA/IoT tools testing efficacy event sponsored by the Pentagon's Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) and the U.S. Cyber Command entitled, The Defense at Pemberton Mill. Howard Grimes is currently the Associate Vice President and Associate Vice Provost for Institutional Initiatives at The University of Texas at San Antonio, and is focused on strategic institutional initiatives as outlined in the university's strategic vision. Grimes holds a Ph.D. in botany (biophysics) from North Carolina State University, an M.S. in plant pathology from the University of Massachusetts, and an A.B. in chemistry and biology from Indiana University. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Chris Grove, CISSP, NSA-IAM, is Director of Industrial Security at Indegy and has more than 25 years of experience in cyber security. Previously, Chris managed large scale cyber security projects at various organizations and companies including Imperva for the commercial, government, defense, law enforcement, and the intelligence community sectors. He has presented at Black Hat, RSA, InfoSec, ISA, ARC, and Gartner conferences on cloud, datacenter, and industrial cyber security, hacking, and cyber-defense strategies.

Ken Kurz is the Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Officer for Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) located in Columbia, MD. He joined COPT in February 2016. Formerly the Executive Director, Network & Information Assurance at the University of Oklahoma (OU), he led OU's networking, risk and governance, identity and access management and security operations teams. Before leaving for OU, Ken was the Director for Information Services at the US Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation as the head of information technology for both 501(c)(3) non-profits supporting the Naval Academy.

Dr. Louisell serves as a key member of Cisco's cross-domain strategic solutions team. He is engaged across multiple corporate sectors serving as a leader and collaborator supporting development of technical approaches to address our Department of Defense client's most complex problems. These include strategic planning and management of information and operational technology; strategic, operational, and tactical mission execution; technology development; and process innovation. He consistently supports efforts that lead to customer solutions in defense, intelligence, civil, and commercial applications.

Jonathan Murchison, the founder and CEO of Blackpoint, started his career in Network Engineering and IT operations, but quickly made the switch to the quiet world of the intelligence community. He has since spent over twelve years planning, conducting, and executing high-priority national security missions. As a former NSA computer operations expert and IT professional, he is bringing a unique perspective to the mission of developing cyber defense software effective at detecting and detaining purposeful cyber intrusions and insider threats. Murchison holds multiple patents in methods of network analysis, defense, pattern analytics, and mobile platforms.

Phil is responsible for CyberX's global marketing including product and corporate marketing, branding, demand creation, and channel marketing. He has a track record of scaling both start-ups and larger organizations, including enterprise security leaders such as IBM Security/Q1 Labs, Guardium, Veracode, and Symantec. With a BSEE from McGill University and graduate-level coursework at the Boston University School of Management Phil began his career as an engineer on oil rigs in South America and later as a software product manager. He's certified in cloud security (CCSK) and has a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu..

Phil Page is the Technical Manager for BD and Partner Alliances at Nozomi Networks, helping customers and partners around the world secure industrial control networks. Prior to joining Nozomi, he worked as a network security consultant in the Federal space, designing and deploying security solutions for organizations in the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Phil previously served as an Engineer Officer in the US Army Reserve and earned his master's degree in Information Systems Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Pomper has over 35 years of experience installing, designing and securing computer networks. She holds numerous certifications from Microsoft, Novell, CompTIA and ISC2, including Server+, MCT, MCSE, MCTS for SharePoint, MCTS and EMA for Exchange 2007 and CISSP. She is the principal author for an exam guide for Windows 2000 Active Directory published in December 2001, and a contributing author for Windows XP Power Pack published in March 2003. From 1992-2007, she was an independent consultant providing network design services, customized training, and SharePoint implementation services. In 2007, Dr. Pomper took a position working for the Department of Defense as a Global Exploitation and Vulnerability Analyst. She teaches a range of security and networking topics on a part-time basis both in the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Pomper holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance and a Doctor of Science in Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University in Laurel, Maryland. Dr. Pomper currently serves as Government Program Manager, DreamPort, USCYBERCOM's innovation center and Mission Accelerator®.

Jeff Roy is the VP of Sales Engineering for Jazz Networks, where he leads a global team bringing a world-class cyber analytics platform to the market. Over the past 20 years, he has helped a wide range of customers address various networking and security challenges. His latest passion is working with customers to protect from the Insider Threat. Jeff is a graduate of Northeastern University and holds a CISSP certification.

With more than 43 years of experience in information and physical security, he leads Mocana as Chief Technology Officer after serving as director and CTO at CSC Global CyberSecurity. His background includes Chief Technology Officer at Applied Identity, which was sold to Citrix. Earlier, he was Chief Security Architect at Teros; a leading manufacturer of application security gateways, also acquired by Citrix. He was responsible for developing and implementing solution deployments including assessment and intelligence gathering at TruSecure/ICSA Labs (now Verizon Business Security Solutions). Mr. Weber helped found a large Midwestern reseller-integrator specializing in secure architectural design and deployment for both public- and private-sector clients, and he served for many years as its technical vice president. Additionally, he spent several years in the U.S. Navy working in physical and electronic security. Mr. Weber is a frequent speaker at information security events such as InfoWorld, ITEC, InfoSec Europe, InfraGard, Secret Service Security Roundtable, ISSA, and various focus engagements.
